This book looks into the use and application of Knowledge Management Process (KM Process) in the creative and innovative organizations in the context of Malaysian enterprises. The premise of this book is about KM Process. KM Process can be defined as a continuous process of managing and applying knowledge and skills in the right place at the right time. It is an integrated part of  KM enablers, KM Process, through organizational creativity and innovation that results in the organizations to become more competitive and thus improve their organizational performance.

The main concept within the KM Process is “Value Sharing Process” ™, which focuses on creating high value and sharing of products and services in the marketplace, that are commercially viable, and able to sustain and survive in the competitive global environment. It includes four modes of KM Process: Knowledge Creation, Knowledge Conversion, Knowledge Communication and Knowledge Change. This main concept within the KM Process is particularly suitable for innovative organizations.

The result of high value in products and services (a real productivity) will lead to high income for  individuals and organizations, which in turn will lead to high consumption (by individuals) and investment (by organizations), and hence organizational performance and economy growth for the nation.

The intermediate outcome of KM Process is organizational creativity and innovation, which will ensure the long term sustainability and survival of organizations in the competitive and globalised economy.

Organizational performance is the final outcome of  KM Process through innovative organizations. It can be achieved through competitive advantage and can be measured by using Balanced Scorecard or Key Performance Indicator.
